“I am a butterfly.  Catch me if you can!”  This phrase inspired and gave wings to my new line of jewelry, Metamorphosis.  It is the spirit of a gorgeous butterfly playfully darting and fluttering about, offering the challenge to reach for that which we desire. This revelation propelled me on a six-week journey to Turkey and culminated in this line of interactive pieces.  Using classic Tezhip style lines native to my country, I designed a collection of cuff bracelets, rings and five iconic images in pendant form, including a butterfly, dragonfly, heart, circle and star.  The butterfly represents the beauty of metamorphosis…change, growth, and spontaneity.  I designed a heart to signify the profound love so familiar to the strong women in my life.  The dragonfly defines a woman’s depth of character.  The circle represents the circle of life.  My celestial star reminds us of endless possibilities.  These gorgeous creatures and emblems speak to me and symbolize the closeness of woman and nature. I hope that they speak your language, as well.
