The words we use to describe our feelings can be very
potent, especially with writing poetry. Our passion is
much more concentrated in such few words.
The space I am able to write my poems in is one of
solitude, the solitude of my heart and soul. When I
am in that optimum state, words seem to appear on
their own, out of thin air. In those moments of
writing, my heart feels like I am in direct communion
with all things, including my inner self.
That optimum state usually happens when I truly join
the subtle hum of nature.
